Covid-19 Update

The government has recently announced that certain Businesses which include beauty salons, nail bars and tattoo studios can reopen safely from Monday 13 July

I am delighted to be open again as of Monday 13 July in accordance with government guidelines as highlighted in the link below

It will be my pleasure to welcome you safely back to Mikes for the same exemplary service you have come to expect.

I must stress that as delightful as it will be to welcome you to Mike’s, if you have any known Covid-19 symptoms, even of a mild nature you must not under any circumstances attend and you must cancel your appointment as soon as possible.

To address any concerns you may have I have compiled a list of FAQ’s

Will I need to wear a facemask?

If you so choose, but it is not compulsory.

Will Mike be wearing a facemask?

I will wear a facemask if requested or I feel the treatment warrants use thereof.

Will Mike be wearing gloves?

Yes for Waxing no for massage unless specifically requested.

What Covid Sterilisation Policy is being implemented?

I have implemented the Guild of Beauty therapists’ Covid policy which I have certified in and all touching surfaces will be sterilised with medical grade viricide and bactericide between appointments.

Will I be able to use toilet facilities?

Yes,the toilet and sink will be steilised with the same materials mentioned above and towels will be replaced between appointments and washed in accordance with the Guild of beauty therapists guidelines

What happens if Mike is running late for an appointment?

I have allocated enough time between bookings to ensure that I will be able to implement my cleaning protocols

What happens if I am running late for my appointment?

It shouldn’t make any difference in terms of time allocated, but if there is overlap between clients, you will have to wait outside the premises in your car

Will all doorhandles be disinfected?

All touching surfaces of both inner and outer doors, both sides will be disinfected as above.

Is Mike still accepting cash payment?

Yes, though you can also pay online on my website in advance of your treatment. Here

Should I wash my hands before arriving?

Sometimes this is not possible but it is preferable, I provide alcohol gel to all my clients at entry to my treatment room

Should I attend my booking if I have any known Coronavirus symptoms, such as a persistent cough or sneeze or loss of taste?

No! even with minor symptoms you must not attend.

Will I need to adhere to Mikes Covid Policy and legal requirements?

Yes.
